With more than 16 year's experience in financial planning and investment management, Mark has the accumulated knowledge and perspective to keep you and your financial future on a steady course. Mark believes the key to designing a sound financial plan is to begin with well-defined goals and objectives. His focus on long-term investing is driven by a disciplined, conservative approach well-grounded in industry research.

Mark is a graduate of Campbell University in North Carolina where he earned his bachelor's degree with a concentration in Trust Management and Financial Planning. Mark's experience working with high net worth families as well as large institutional pension funds prior to joining Lakeshore Financial Planning brings a valuable perspective to our practice.

In 2016 Mark earned his CFP® certification. He completed a comprehensive course of study at Northwestern University and passed an arduous CFP® Certification Examination. Mark's planning-based approach is designed to help you meet current financial needs while working toward future goals; mitigate tax liabilities and successfully address estate issues; and reach your long-term financial goals. Mark uses our innovative Goal Planning & Monitoring (GPM) software to help align financial decisions with your unique goals and priorities as well as track your progress during the ongoing client review process.

Mark grew up in Naperville, IL and has spent most of his career in the Chicago area. He and his wife Courtney have lived in Rochester Hills for almost five years with their three children, Emma (12), Ben (10) and Annie (7). When not in the office, Mark enjoys vacations with his family, going to kids sporting events, playing golf and being involved at Kensington Church.
